What few street performers there are get really into it. this guy was headbanging and thrashing around, playing j-pop. there was another guy doing karaoke with a cigarette hanging out of his mouth; at one point he did a hoarse medley of dark side of the moon.
One for David Froemming in Wisconsin. This is in a side-street in a tunnel off Istaklal St. Last Century the Moslem sensitivities meant that people were rarely portrayed in artwork so this art must have come later than that. I think it’s an advertisement for the Pera Museum, which was closed when I went there.
